This project was initiated during the ENSSEE Congress in Rio Maior,
with the idea of exporting the AEHESIS to South America. In the
first semester of 2008, there were the first conversations about
the real possibility of putting this initiative into practice when
Dr. Jose Rodriguez and Dr. Estélio Dantas were in Deutsche
Sporthochschule Köln. In September of 2008, in Rio de Janeiro,
the agreement of intentions was signed between ENSSEE and REMH in
the presence of Dr. Walter Tokarski, Dr. Karen Petry and Dr. Jose
Rodrigues, when the execution of the work presented here was determined.
From this initial
point, a schedule of actions was determined:
1) Translation
of the questionnaires into Portuguese and Spanish;
2) Selection
of the Universities that would take part in the pilot study according
to the geographic disposition previously agreed with ENSSEE;
3) Visit to the selected Universities for dissemination of the project
and presentation of the instruments;
4) Selection of five Universities (three Hispanic) for validation
of the instruments;
5) Submission of the validated version to ENSSEE, for verification
and approval;
6) Incorporation of corrections/improvements indicated by the ENSSEE
representative;
7) Answers of the instruments by the participant Universities;
8) Return of the questionnaires that are incomplete or with errors;
9) Tabulation of the results.
It is important
to clarify that the analysis of this pilot study was purely quantitative,
due to the scale proposed for the study.
Since the beginning
of the project, we had already agreed that the qualitative analysis,
based on the six steps model, would happen in a future phase.
